Our History

Our History

In 1931, Byron B. Downard founded Downard Funeral Home and began serving the people of Pocatello and Bannock County Idaho. Grateful for the public acceptance of our efforts we will continue to adhere to the principles of integrity, compassion, and sincere service which have characterized this firm since the day we conducted our first funeral in June of 1931.

Sincere thanks to our friends and neighbors for your support and trust in the past. We strive to continue to merit that trust in the years to come.
