Obituary for Debra Jeanne McFarland

Debra Jeanne McFarland was born on February 16, 1960 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Joseph and Ruth (England) McCarty. After high school, Debra further her education in Texas to become a CNA. She married Lynn Norgaard. Together they had two sons, Charles and Edward. The marriage later ended in divorce. Debra then married Terry J. McFarland. They adopted a son, Michael and became the mother to Brandon McFarland and Melissa Norgaard. Debra was a member of the Gate City Baptist Church. She enjoyed her career in nursing. She loved butterflies, camping, fishing and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth England. Debra passed away on May 23, 2019 following an illness at her home. She is survived by her husband, Terry J. McFarland; and children, Charles Norgaard, Brandon McFarland, Melissa (Brad) Norgaard, Edward (Serena) Norgaard and Michael McFarland; a sister, Rosie McCarty and brothers-in-law, Kim McFarland all of Pocatello and Rick McFarland of Boise, Idaho;and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Rogers of Idaho Falls and Diane Marques of Cheyenne, Wyoming; as well as 5 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Gate City Baptist Church, 500 West Maple St. in Pocatello.
