Obituary for Nikki L. Grant

Nikki L. Grant was born on August 4, 1942 in Pocatello, Idaho to Arnold R. Stuart and June L. (Dockendorf) Stuart. Nikki was raised on a farm in Chubbuck. She was very accident prone as a child and had many close calls. She attended Tyhee Elementary, Alameda Junior High and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1960. She played the flute in the band. Nikki worked for ITT Grinnelle, Tayson Construction and as a book keeper for Buz’s Tire. She received her Reiki Certificate and was skilled in healing of the hands therapy. Nikki married Ray E. Grant in 1972 in her parent’s yard. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved ceramics and Jafra.
Nikki was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Lori. Nikki is survived her husband, Ray; sister Marianne Gardner of Chubbuck; a daughter Teresa Lee of Pocatello; grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler) Wasia of Pocatello, Josh (Kelly) Exeter of Pocatello, Cody (Joanne) Exeter of Blackfoot; Taylor; great grand children, Jordyn, Cadyn, Bowen, Bradley, Hayley, Mason and Kylee.
Nikki’s family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave, Pocatello, Idaho. Please share memories, photographs and condolences on Nikki’s tribute wall.
